Islam in a Modern Secular State international symposium Kyrgyzstan Republic

Our rector Prof. dr. Ahmet Akgunduz will participate to an international symposium. The State Commission on Religious Affairs of the Kyrgyzstan Republic is organizing the Second International Conference “Islam in a Modern Secular State”, which will be held under the auspices of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on 15-16th November, 2018 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan,. The conference is devoted to discuss contemporary issues and search for approaches to harmonize relations in the Muslim communities, develop recommendations for improving the effectiveness of democratic governance in the religious sphere, prevent radicalization and widespread of extremist ideas.
